Honesty

Yesterday I had parent teacher conferences. All the kids are doing so great! Rachel is having a bit of a hard time adjusting to 5th grade (emotionally - her grades a rs still good!) It's nice to hear good things about your kids! Blake's teacher was showing me some sample of his work and when she pulled out his writing, she got all excited. I read it and we both had a good laugh. "

It reads, "My mom and dad went to Montana to get away from us. They had fun and they went hiking. I don't remember specifically telling the kids that was the reason we were going on a vacation was to get away from them, but I guess that was the message we sent. :) I wonder what other family secrets have been revealed?? He actually wrote 3 pages about all the stuff Jon and I did on vacation - 3 pages! I'm just glad he finally wrote about something other than the Wii
