Political Aspirations
Both of my girls wanted to run for student council this year. Rachel wanted to run for historian...again and Emily decided on Treasurer. Next year we will do Secretary as no one ran for that! Rachel went against like 12 other kids. Emily said going in... I know I probably won't win since I'm a 3rd grader, but it will still be fun. I kind of hope Chesley wins (a friend of Rachel's) since he's a 5th grader and it's his last chance. Well... Emily got her wish. Now both are hoping to be room reps. I am proud of both of them for getting up in front of the school to deliver a speech! Much braver than their mama. And.. they did have cute posters!

They would have my vote! They are both getting so old and beautiful. It is great that they are such go-getters. We are excited to see you all on Sunday!
Brave girls, indeed. Glad they had fun. Aa a kid the whole thing would have done me in.
